Hotel was clean, in a good location and perfect for a city break, when you are out of the room for most of the day. Bathroom was clean and a good size, bedroom was basic and clean. There is some renovation works going on in the hotel but thats done in the day and didn't bother us at all. there seemed to be quite a few student parties there and it is the perfect hotel if all you need is somewhere to leave your stuff during the day and have a clean bed at night. Location is fantastic, Hotel is directly across the road from the Universitat metro stop. We were only a few mins walk away from the top end of Las Ramblas.

Top Tip:
If you are flying into Barcelona there is a free bus service from the aeroport to the train station (5mins) and train (overground) tickets to the city centre are handed out free of charge. Same applies when heading back to the aeroport. We paid to use the metro (€1.40 for a single)- Metro is very easy to navigate, very clean and everything seems to run on time. We didnt eat anywhere on Las Ramblas but headed for the side streets and little cafes selling tapas. Food was excellent and less than half the price advertised on the main stretch so would definately recommend giving it a go.
