The hotel occupies a great location in the heart of Barcelona on a small side street just off Plaza Universitat, in an area known as Tringulo de Oro. There is a metro station, Universitat, just outside the hotel, although a two minute walk will bring you to Plaza Catalunya and the Ramblas. The surrounding area is bustling and lively with shops, bars and restaurants.

The hotel Jazz opened early 2004 and is a beautifully modern, contemporary styled property, which is already a favourite with many people. The building itself is a large, light coloured construction with a glass fronted entrance bringing you to the lobby, which is minimalist in style, with a large black reception desk, tiled flooring and a small seating area. There is a nice light and airy feel to it, due to the large glass frontage. The hotel has a small rooftop outdoor pool surrounded by a small decking terrace - an ideal place to catch a little sun in the heat of midday or simply to get a good view of the city. The Jazz hotel has built a very strong reputation for style and comfort in the short time it has been open, indeed it one the most popular hotels in central Barcelona.
